Welcome to our parish website and to Advent 2019. Advent is meant to give us time to prepare for Christmas. Over the next 4 weeks, I invite you to set aside time each week to prepare for Christmas. Join us for our Tuesday Advent Lunch & Learn series with Fr. Dominic Rankin. Spend time as a group or individually with our Advent Series “Rejoice, Reflections with Joseph”. And yes, we have a combined communal Penance Service (Dec 17, 6:30pm) Don’t just think about donkeys and mangers, stars and angels, little drummer boys and silent nights. Reflect on what God did for you when He sent His Son into the world.
And don’t forget to light the candles of our Advent wreaths each night, and remember those we love with thankfulness, pray for those in need, and anticipate our God coming to us in the flesh. If you don’t have an Advent wreath, light a candle and remember the light which came into the world when Jesus was born.
While Christmas is almost here, the season of Advent helps us to slow down a bit from all the Christmas preparations and “busyness”.
Our doors are wide open and you are invited to be with us. One of the best first steps in getting to know us is to join for worship. We have three weekly Masses: Saturday at 4:30pm; Sunday at 8:00am and 10:30am
