Serving at The Worker
Each week many people just like you give their time to serve--and we call them ministers. Whether it's greeting guests, pitching in behind the scenes or helping kids or adults learn about God on their level. Every volunteer minister is making a difference in our parish community.
Protecting God's Children
All volunteers 18 and above, no matter what area of ministry they work in, are required to take the Protecting God's Children class before volunteering. We offer this class regularly, or it can be taken at another Catholic church.
Hospitality teams welcome guests as soon as they arrive or help them find the best seats. You can help our parish be a welcoming environment for our guests (and everyone is a welcome guest at the Eucharist banquet or other parish activities.
Yes, we encourage family teams--all members of a family working to help our members meet and get to know Jesus in a creative and relevant way. You and your family can be a part of helping kids, youth and adults form a relationship with Jesus that lasts forever.
Support teams serve behind the scenes to keep theings running smoothly on the weekend or pitch in during the week with staff to prepare for the weekend. Opportunities to get involved range3 from maintenance work to library to your particular gift.
