Browsing Fr. Joe the Worker

March 31

Dear Parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker:

The miracle has happened.  Jesus, the One dead on the Cross on Good Friday, is now the One who is Risen and Alive!  What was foreshadowed at the Transfiguration is now a reality.  Death has turned into new life.  ALLELUIA!

As we enter our 50 day season of Easter, we are called to be those disciples of the Risen Lord who go out into the world and make the miracle known through the way we act with one another.  We are called to be those stewards of the Risen Lord who use our time, talent, and treasure to further God’s Kingdom here on earth.  We are called to be those Easter people who proclaim the hope and joy and peace of the Empty Tomb.   We are called to be ALLELUIA people in today’s Church.

A       Will we give our ALL in our faith over the next 50 days?

L       Will we be LED closer to Jesus during this Easter season?

L       Will we LIVE as Easter people each day?

E       Will we focus on the beauty of ETERNAL life during the Easter season?

L       Will we LET our hearts and souls be touched and moved by the Lord of the Resurrection?

U       Will we USE every moment of every day to give praise to our Risen Savior?

I         Will we INVOLVE ourselves in our parish here more and more?

A       Will we ANNOUNCE that Jesus is risen through what we say and do?

I wish you and your family a blessed and glorious Easter.  May you celebrate more fully the miracle that God has given to us---the raising of His Son from the dead.  I am so grateful for your continued support, prayers, and love.  I thank you for your Easter cards, gifts, and well-wishes.

A special thanks to ALL who made our Holy Week, Easter, and Easter season so prayerful and meaningful---choir/musicians, décor people, liturgical ministers, and all others.

Let us all revel in this glorious season of new hope, new faith, new promise, new joy, and new peace.

Your Easter Pastor, Father Joe
