Dear SJW Parishioners:
This Sunday, May 8th, is a very special day for many women in our parish, as we celebrate Mother’s Day. What a wonderful time to give thanks to God for the gift of motherhood. I always say: “God knew what He was doing when He created moms.”
Let us be filled with deep gratitude for all women in our lives who are moms in any way. Their care, love, support, sacrifice, and joy are examples for us to follow, and for which to appreciate each day as we grow older.
Thank you, MOMS, for all you do for your families, your parish, and for the Lord!
M is for the MANY things a mom does each day!
O is for how OFTEN a mom thinks of her children over herself!
T is for the TREMENDOUS love a mom has in her heart!
H is for the HAPPINESS that a mom can bring!
E is for the ENERGY that a mom has always, it seems!
R’ is for the REVERENCE she has for her family!
S is for the SINCERITY of a mom!
D is for the DILIGENCE that a mom has as to being a mother!
A is for the AMAZING strength of a mom!
Y is for the YEAH that all moms deserve!!!!
May our Blessed Virgin, THE mom of all moms, intercede for all the moms in our parish.
