4/17/2022 Easter

Dear Parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker:

Happy Easter to you and to your families!  The glorious event of our salvation is remembered and celebrated once again – Jesus Christ is RISEN!  ALLELUIA!!!

I wish you all a joyous, faith-filled, and peaceful Easter and Easter season.  May our Risen Savior be ever more present in your lives, guiding you to the fullness of the Resurrection and the life it gives us now and especially, one day, in heaven.  I know for myself this will be a very special celebration –my 1st Easter with you as pastor.  Please know of my gratitude for all you have done since my arrival, and for being such a parish of life, energy, faith, and prayer.  You have touched my life in so many ways – for that, I am deeply grateful.  And know of my daily prayer for each one of you.

Let us reflect on this joyous day in our liturgical year:

E   for the EVERLASTING life it brings!

A   for the ABSOLUTE beauty of the empty tomb!

S   for the SOLITUDE of that Easter morning!

T   for the TREASURE that is ours in the Risen Lord!

E   for the ELATION that should be in our souls this day!

R   for the REALITY of life in heaven that the Resurrection brings!

Let us pray for one another as we journey through the 50 days of the Easter season.  Let us be those ALLELUIA people for, and in, the Resurrected Lord!

Your Pastor,

Father Joe
