St. Joseph the Worker

Dear Parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker:

ALLELUIA!  ALLELUIA!  ALLELUIA!

 The Lord is Risen!  He has conquered sin and death.  The opportunity to enjoy eternal life has been given to us.  Heaven has opened its doors!

Easter is that most important event in the history of our Faith.  This miracle that God gave to the world gives us HOPE---hope in living with Jesus Christ, the Risen One, forever in peace and joy.

I want to THANK all those who have made our Holy Week such a prayerful experience.  The décor, music, volunteering, and everything else---superbly done!  Much gratitude to our parishioners who have sacrificed hours of practice, preparation, and work.  What a tremendous display of parish being parish.  How proud I am of all of you!

I wish all of you and your families a joyous Easter and Easter Season.  May the Lord of the Empty Tomb fill you with a deeper faith as we continue to celebrate His Suffering, Death, and Resurrection each time we come together to celebrate Eucharist.

AND---welcome to JOHN MAYSON VALLAR, who was baptized, confirmed, and received 1^st Communion at the Easter Vigil.  He is such a great example of a young person saying “yes” to the Lord’s call to faith.  May Mayson challenge each of us to respond positively to Jesus and daily grow in our love for, and appreciation of, our Catholic faith.
