December 29

Dear Parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker:

This Wednesday is New Years Day.  2025 will be upon us with all of its hopes, desires, promises, possibilities.  Newness is so good at times, giving us the spark we need to look at life differently.  Over these next days, let us reflect on how we want the new year to look like.

2025—How will we grow in our faith?

2025—How will we be stewards of our time, talent, and treasure?

2025—How will we pray more daily?

2025—How will we appreciate the Eucharist in a deeper way each time we celebrate it?

2025—How will we be a better source of God’s mercy and forgiveness?

2025—How will we listen to the voice of the Lord?

2025—How will we reach out to console someone with the compassion of Jesus Christ?

2025—How will we change whatever needs to change in our lives?

2025—How will we live out our baptismal promises?

2025—How will we evangelize, making our Catholic faith known and shared?

2025—How will we invite someone back to the practice of their Catholic faith?

2025—How will we grow in appreciation for all the Lord’s blessings?

2025—How will we encourage more young people to consider a vocation to be a priest or religious?

2025—How will we challenge ourselves to be better than we were yesterday?

2025—How will we participate more in God’s plan for us?

2025—How will we be a servant for the Lord?

2025—How will we support one another along our journey of faith?

As we approach January 1st, let us commit ourselves to the Lord’s presence in each day.  He is right there from morning until night. Let us be the same for Him.

Your “Almost 2025” Pastor, Father Joe
