Dear Parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker:

This weekend we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family—Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.  What a wonderful trio for us to emulate as we daily live.  They show the world what a true family is like and how a family is to be for one another.  A parish family, like ours, should bring to life their beautiful qualities.

H       Do we HAVE the deepest faith we are able to have?

O       To whom do we OWE a great example of faith?       

L       How much do we truly LOVE day in and day out?    

Y       Are we YEARNING for the Lord more in our lives?   

F       What is our FAVORITE family prayer?

A       How AWESOME is our faith to us?

M      Are we a MODEL of a true Christian?

I         How INVOLVED are we in the life of our parish?

L       Do we LIVE according to the mandates of the Lord and the Church?

Y       How will we grow in Jesus Christ this New YEAR of 2026?

Let us resolve to be the HOLY FAMILY at St. Joseph the Worker in Chatham.  For if we do, then the New Year of 2026, which will be here in several days, will be a year of blessing, prayer, faith, and love. 

May Jesus, Mary, and Joseph guide us in living each day as we should.  Living each day as they did.  Living each day as our Catholic faith call us to live.
