A Way Of Living

"Stewardship" is not a Protestant word, but rather a Gospel word from the mouth of Jesus.  The Gospels were written in Greek and the English words “steward” and “stewardship" are used to translate a Greek word that means to administer what belongs to someone else.

SOOOOO, a steward is the "ward" of what belongs to someone else. It’s more than momentary generous acts or sporadic contributions to a good cause.  It’s even deeper than our pockets.

The essence of stewardship is seeing things differently, using “new” eyes, and it’s not complicated.  Everything we have, are or hope to be are gifts from a loving God who created us and we are simply His stewards.  Once we get this idea right, we live it that way.  That’s stewardship—that’s a way of living.
