St. Joseph the Worker

Dear St. Joseph the Worker Parishioners:

We have journeyed through 2 ½ weeks of the Lenten season.  How are you doing?  I hope this finds you well, prayerful, better, and continuing to be dedicated to the call of this season.  And what would that call be?  That call would be to REFORM.  That word is for all of us to take to heart and to put into practice.  Let’s see how that word may/could/does affect us this week.

R  Do we attempt to REACH our potential in our faith, or do we settle for the minimum?

E  Do we see that Lent leads to the Easter gift of ETERNAL life?

F  Do we see that Lent offers us to be FREE of our sins?

O  Do we see how our sins OFFEND Jesus Christ?

R  Do we attempt to RENOUNCE all that is not leading us closer to God?

M  Do we attempt to MAKE ourselves better disciples of the Lord?

May this third week of Lent find us reforming and reforming and reforming!
