St. Joseph the Worker Parishioners:

Alert for all husbands!!  Valentine’s Day is this Tuesday.  You remember?  The day you are to spoil and indulge your wife with flowers, candy, jewelry, and a card.  All of them, or at least one or two.  (Wives---I tried!) 

We all want love in our lives, do we not?  When it isn’t felt by us we feel that something is wrong.  Well, Valentine’s Day is that reminder to make sure the LOVE of Feb. 14^th becomes the LOVE of each and every day.   So---

V    Do we VALUE the love God has shown us in creating us?

A    Are we ALL into our faith or just on the periphery?

L    Is LOVE the primary motive in our relation with others?

E    Does EACH Sunday find us in church praising our Lord?

N   Is there NOTHING better than our Catholic faith?

T    Do we use our TIME to grow closer to Jesus?

I     Is forgiving someone who hurt us IMPORTANT to us?

N   Do we say NO to sin?

E’   Have we ever EXCLUDED God from our daily life?

S     Do we value our 7 SACRAMENTS?

D    Do we DARE to show our faith in public?

A    Have we ALWAYS given thanks for all our blessings?

Y    How will we spend this YEAR in making God’s love known and felt?

May Valentine’s Day inspire us all to be disciples and stewards of the love God has put into our hearts and souls.
