January Week 2 Faith Formation
As we head into our second week of Faith Formation for the month of January, keep in mind that the information is broken up into two lessons. Lesson 6 is titled “Jesus: The Way, The Truth and The Life, and Lesson 7 is titled “Jesus Makes Us Children of God,” with several activities to accompany each. A summary of those can be found on pages 105 and 116. Below are a few added resources to peruse in regards to Lesson 6 and 7. Plug these into your own timeline…I just wanted you to have them all to spread out through the rest of the month as you see fit.

Catholic Schools Week Appreciation Card Shower –PLEASE get these in as soon as you can so that we have loads of thanks to shower on them both! J
In honor of Catholic Schools Week, our Faith Formation students are hosting a card shower in honor of Father John and Sister Judy.
Please join in thanking each of them for their sacrifices and for the living witness that they are to our parish community. This has been an especially trying year, and what better time to reach out with thanks and gratitude to both of them.
Send or drop cards off in the parish office, Attn: Janice Anderson, no later than Friday, February 5th. They will be delivered soon after, to both Fr. John and Sr. Judy.
We invite ALL families and parish members to join us in prayer and thanksgiving for these two wonderful people who bless our parish IMMENSELY! Thank you for your participation!
Restored Order Class of 2021
CONGRATULATIONS again to our 23 youth who received/completed their Sacraments of Initiation last Sunday. Families of those students – if you would like a bulletin with the group picture on it (that is out this weekend – January 17th) please stop by the parish office this week. Adam had several made as a keepsake for each of your families. Cindy Essex has also emailed out your final enrichment requirements. Please submit those by February 1st to ensure your completion of the program. Again, many thanks for your time and commitment to the forming of faith for these special sacraments!
Level 2 Restored Order Prep to Begin in March
Preparation for Restored Order (Class of 2021) will begin for our next group of kiddos in March. Dates are still to be determined, but will be made public soon. If your 2nd grade child is signed up for FF this year, they are automatically on the list. If you have a 3rd grade child or above, who has not received Confirmation or First Communion, please let me know if you would like them added to this group, in order to ensure correspondence from Cindy Essex in the future.
Teaching the Liturgical Year
