February Week 1 Faith Formation

Welcome to February FF!

February is full of opportunities for families to enjoy time together as you learn about the saints, celebrate Valentine's Day, and get ready for Lent. We're pleased to provide a host of helpful resources to share with your families…and watch for even more to follow in the weeks ahead.

This month, our two lessons look at the questions: “What is the significance of the Resurrection?” and “How can our families serve others?” We’ll explore how if we take our dignity and freedom seriously, then ultimate consequences (Heaven and Hell), simply make sense.

Level 2 Restored Order Prep to Begin in March

Preparation for Restored Order (Class of 2021) will begin for our next group of kiddos in March. If your 2nd grade child is signed up for FF this year, they are automatically on the list. If you have a 3rd grade child or above, who has not received Confirmation or First Communion, please let me know if you would like them added to this group, in order to ensure correspondence from Cindy Essex in the future. PICK UP day for a few items needed for preparation is scheduled for Sunday, February 21st from 11:45am-12:30 pm. Please pull up to the main doors by the office and a church representative will deliver your items to your car. If you are unable to make it on this day, please reach out to me so that we can schedule an alternate time.

Family Faith Scrapbook

Submit a picture of your scrapbook by Sunday, February 28th in order to be entered into our drawing for a $40.00 Outback Steakhouse gift card this month. Looking forward to seeing your masterpieces that can be found on page 157 of the parent guide.

Souper Bowl of Caring

We are currently collecting various soup items as well as monetary donations for our two local food pantries until February 16th. Look for a collection station in the Gathering Space before and after Mass, or by the church office door during the week days. Your donations will make this a SOUPer event! Thank you in advance for your support and stewardship!
