About Your Workshop Leader

Kevin began his career in healthcare and advanced to CEO-level positions in some of the largest organizations in the country. His experience includes organizations of all sizes and specialties in communities ranging from 4,000 residents to 4 million. Kevin has dramatically improved the verbal, nonverbal and written communications skills of many people of various ages and educational levels across multiple industries.  Kevin honed his skills through comprehensive training with the Zig Ziglar organization. His demonstrated expertise in the area of coaching, development and education led to an assignment as a training consultant for that organization. He describes his workshops as “Edutainment,” a combination of education and entertainment which he believes provides the best platform for learning.   Kevin is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and received a master’s degree from the University of Illinois in Springfield. He and his wife Kathy reside in Chatham Illinois and attend St. Joseph the Worker, Catholic Church.

Workshop Objectives (90 minutes)

At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Avoid the common pitfalls of ineffective communications;
  • Make a personal connection with audiences of all sizes;
  • Effectively use pace, tone, gestures, story-telling and humor to make a memorable impression;
  • Adjust communication style to different venues such as one on one, small board meetings, large auditoriums or interactions with the media;
  • Determine the appropriate use of technology and enduring materials to support your interactions.
