Walking for God

SJW Walking for God & Fitness Spring Program - STARTS WEDNESDAY, MAY 16!

It's SPRING!  It is time to get back into a good routine of fitness walking along with a good reason to meet as a group and talk about the importance of fitness and following God's plan for you!

We had a great start last fall with over 30 walkers attending at least one of the Wednesday evening sessions!  If you had a good time and saw the benefits, and hopefully kept up with your program, you know the value of having a group to met and walk with.

Parishioner Mike De Witt, Coach at UIS with over 40 years of coaching experience with all levels of ability is the leader of the program.

Starting Wednesday evening May 16th from 6:15-7pm for six weeks through Wednesday June 16th we will meet at the SOUTH ENTRANCE Parking Lot and start the evening with a Bible Reflection and Theme for the evening.  We will then do some light loosening up walking, have a 20-25 minute workout, and finish up with a review of the evening.

It is a great opportunity to meet people, walk, and think about the work of God!
