IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

December 8 is the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  It is a holy day of obligation.  Mass will be at 8:30am and 6:30pm.  The office will be closed.

CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS CHOIR

All children are invited to be a part of the Children's Christmas Choir for the 4:30pm Mass on Christmas Eve.  Children must be able to read and be able to attend the majority of practices.  Practices will be held on each Wednesday at 5:30pm beginning November 30 and each Sunday at 11:45am beginning on December 4.  If you have questions, please call Kris Tunstall at 725-1513.

FAITH FIRST REFLECTIONS

During Advent of 2016, the parish will publish a weekly reflection on the upcoming Sunday Scripture and written by our parishioners as part of our journey on the path of Stewardship & Discipleship. ANGEL TREE

If you have taken an ornament from the Angel Tree, please remember to return all gifts back to the tree located in the North Vestibule no later than noon Sunday, December 18. Volunteers are needed for sorting and packing presents on Monday, December 19 at 10:00am in O'Hara Hall. Please contact Trish Jackson 697-8367 or Margaret Brooks 483-5660.

LUNCH AND ADVENT REFLECTION

Join us on the Tuesdays of Advent for a 12:05pm Lunch and Advent Reflection. Fr. Brian Alford, pastor of St. Jude’s in Rochester and Director of Vocations for the Diocese, will lead our reflections. This is an excellent means of preparation for the long-expected savior. All are welcome!

ADVENT PENANCE SERVICE

This Advent, the parishes of St. Joseph the Worker and Little Flower are coming together to sponsor one common penance service.  It will be held on Tuesday, December 13 at 6:30pm here at St. Joseph the Worker.  Several priests will be here to participate in this common penance service.
