Pastor's Welcome Print E-mail

nolan1991.jpgWelcome!

I’m glad you found us and take this opportunity to welcome you to our web site.  St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church is a vibrant and active community that welcomes you and your family.  Each week we gather to hear the Word proclaimed, and strengthened in our celebration of the Eucharist, go forth into our homes, schools and workplaces to live the challenge of being a Christian in the world.  You’ll find blended contemporary and traditional music with contemporary ensemble accompaniment that is alive with the presence of Jesus.

This site will provide you with an idea of the things we do and the Creed we profess.  However, to get to know us even better, please consider attending Mass with us or participating in the events you see listed here on this site.  Better yet, download a bulletin from our website for the most up-to-date information; better yet--we are on Facebook (LIKE us and join the RSS feed). If you look closely enough, you will find some event, activity or ministry that can interest you or someone you know.

The members of St. Joseph the Worker parish welcome you warmly. If you are looking for a Roman Catholic parish, I invite you to visit with us this weekend and introduce yourself to me or one of our staff.    If you are unable to visit this weekend, please contact us by phone or email.

Thank you for visiting our website. On behalf of the Catholic Community of St. Joseph the Worker—WELCOME

May God bless you abundantly.

PS:  Yep--that's me in 1991.  I had just returned from eight months in the Omani dessert as a USAF Chaplain during Desert Sheild, Storm and Calm.  Nice tan, Nolan.
